How did that happen?! My last journal entry seemed to be in 2014, and I have to admit that I haven't really been back here since! That may change this year, as my 2018 challenge is to refocus on my photography. In particular, I'm keen to learn how to get the best out of my photos, and plan to go on a few courses which should teach me Photoshop and Lightroom basics. But if the last few years have taught me anything, it's that work, life, and travel leave little time for major edits or uploads, so I won't promise anything! Ideally, I'll start using this again for my DSLR photos, whilst maintaining my Instagram account for photos I've taken

Hi everyone! Sorry for my inactiveness the last 11 months or so... A mixture of work, gym, socialising, trying to enjoy nice days by being outdoors and a very slow laptop have squeezed my time and this site has had to give a bit. However, I have tried to get on here occasionally as I love seeing the latest works of all you guys :) As the nights draw in and the weather turns cold and grey, I think I'm going to be a bit more active again. I also invested a little bit in my computing equipment, which means I am now on a lookout for a suitable photo editor.
